Jamloop names its CTV standard Verified Supply

Jamloop's Verified Supply combines direct CTV deals, pre-bid checks and granular reporting, with Jounce classifying 98% of audited spend as premium direct.

Jamloop's 98% CTV score needs a denominator

Performance CTV platform Jamloop has turned its supply chain approach into a named standard. On October 1, 2026, the Walnut Creek, California company unveiled Verified Supply, a buying framework built around direct publisher relationships, bidder-side verification and delivery reporting that goes down to ZIP code and district level.

It anchors the announcement to a number: Jounce Media classified 98% of audited spend across a set of analyzed Jamloop supply partners as “premium direct.” The company says the standard applies across managed, co-managed, self-service and white-label buying, with inventory it puts at 300+ national networks and 800+ local publishers.

Jamloop founder and chief executive Leif Welch framed the move as a response to a market-wide credibility gap. “Premium without proof isn’t sufficient,” he said.

What sits inside the standard

Jamloop says Verified Supply rests on three elements:

  • Direct supply: buying through direct relationships and deal-based paths with networks and publishers, rather than open-exchange or resold remnant inventory.
  • Pre-bid verification: its bidding technology checks that inventory arriving through those deal IDs matches the expected publisher and inventory before purchase.
  • Delivery reporting: channel-level detail, show-level data where available, impression timing, frequency, and geography by DMA, ZIP code and district, plus log-level data.

Optional controls include publisher and app allowlists, content exclusions, and third-party invalid-traffic monitoring through providers such as Human and Protected.

The 98% needs a denominator

The standout figure is the Jounce classification. But the release does not disclose how many supply partners were analyzed, what share of Jamloop’s total CTV spend the audit covered, or which period it reviewed. It also does not say how Jounce’s “premium direct” category maps to its standard labels such as Bellwether and Premium.

Jounce’s founder, Chris Kane, said supply quality is measurable and that Jamloop’s supply chain management “exceeds industry benchmarks.” The method matters: Jounce defines direct as the exchange paying the primary seller, not the number of systems a request crosses. So a direct path can still run through a supply-side platform.

Direct supply is not clean supply

Buyer research supports Jamloop’s direction. IAB data from July 2026 put high transparency confidence at 57% for publisher-direct CTV methods versus 33% for the open exchange. Jamloop’s own July survey found 62% of 120 senior marketers skeptical of platform-reported CTV results.

Yet fraud does not respect deal type. DoubleVerify reported a 140% year-over-year rise in CTV fraud schemes in Q1 2026, and HUMAN Security’s NewsJunkie takedown showed spoofed inventory could generate close to two billion invalid bid requests per seller per day. Supply path grading and impression validity are separate checks.

What buyers should do

Treat any premium-direct percentage as the start of the conversation, not the end. Ask three questions: what share of spend was audited, over what period, and how the label was defined.

Then match the supply score against impression-level verification. Log-level data is the part of Jamloop’s package that lets teams run their own reconciliation, and it is the most practical check when the headline percentage lacks a denominator.
