Bravo Fan Fest 2026: Five Brands, One Fan-First Playbook

How Colgate, Planet Fitness, State Farm, Wayfair and Wendy's skipped hard sells at Bravo Fan Fest and built fan-first activations around Bravo IP.

Five Brands, One Fan-First Playbook

Bravo Fan Fest returned to Charleston, South Carolina on October 24, and the brand presence told a different story from the usual sponsor row. Five sponsors — Colgate Optic White, Planet Fitness, State Farm, Wayfair and Wendy’s — skipped the oversized logo walls and built small, interactive experiences around the shows fans already love.

Intimacy is the product

Unlike the large-scale BravoCon, Fan Fest is deliberately smaller and more community-driven. For NBCUniversal, that intimacy is not a compromise. It is the mechanism that lets a brand enter the Bravo world naturally.

“Each partnership brings the brand into the Bravo world through familiar Easter eggs and fan-favorite moments, in a way that lets both the brand and the IP shine,” said Sari Feinberg, SVP of marketing and brand partnerships at NBCUniversal Advertising and Partnerships.

Five activations that put fandom first

Each sponsor anchored its space in a specific show or cast moment rather than leading with product features:

  • Colgate Optic White built a giant toothbrush game, a smile-ready photo spot and a customizable travel bag.
  • Planet Fitness ran hydration stations with co-branded bottles and a hang tag that unlocked one free month of PF Black Card.
  • State Farm recreated a Southern Charm waterfront moment, with Shep Rose and Madison LeCroy stopping by for photos.
  • Wayfair let Summer House fans pose as a DJ next to cast cutouts and meet Mia Calabrese, then left with gift boxes carrying a shoppable QR code.
  • Wendy’s brought its BFF truck and debuted two new Frosty flavors inspired by Alicia Carmody and Lisa Barlow, plus a Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Hotel check-in.

The fandom flywheel

Kim Francella, SVP of brand partnerships at NBCUniversal, said the event is part of an ongoing strategy to cultivate fandom. The tighter setting builds deeper connections, and that is what keeps brands coming back.

“What we’re seeing is a true flywheel: the passion of the Bravo fanbase continues to drive incredible demand from brands,” Francella said.

The payoff is attention that does not feel bought. Bravoholics may arrive for a photo with a cast member, but they stay for an experience designed around how they already talk, post and shop for Bravo content.

What to steal for your next activation

Start with one show, creator or fan-community moment. Add a low-pressure utility, such as water, samples or a scannable offer, and make the next step measurable. Barlow’s Baby Gorgeous Meal is still available in the Wendy’s app and on DoorDash, which extends the activation well beyond the festival day.
