Dentsu India has launched Dentsu Performance Studio, a Bengaluru-based unit that brings creative strategy, AI-driven production, performance media and measurement into one connected operating loop.
The signal behind the studio
Major advertising platforms are automating more of audience targeting, placement and media optimisation. That leaves creative volume and creative effectiveness as bigger competitive levers. Dentsu’s response is to make production faster and tightly linked to performance data.
The Studio will work from a 3,000 sq ft facility in Bengaluru and expects to produce more than 1,000 assets a month. Static ads, AI-generated videos, brand assets and digital campaign content will all feed the same system.
Results in a Box
Dentsu is packaging the offer as “Results in a Box.” It combines creative strategy, production, media and measurement around specific business outcomes rather than selling standalone services.
The unit will handle campaign strategy, budget allocation, optimisation and reporting. Creative, media and measurement teams will work through a common data system, using campaign data to identify what is performing and apply those insights to the next round of content.
Abhirup Datta, CEO, Performance Practice Media Solutions, dentsu India and CEO, Sokrati India, put it bluntly: “The winning model will bring creative, media and measurement together to deliver outcomes at scale.”
Why this matters for growth teams
Many in-house teams still run creative and media as separate tracks. Creative ships assets for approval; media reports performance later. That delay slows learning and wastes spend. The Studio model shortens the loop between performance data and the next creative decision.
If you want to borrow the playbook, start with a simple fix:
- Give creative teams visibility into CTR, CPA and ROAS, not just delivery numbers.
- Produce lightweight variants first, then scale the winners.
- Use AI tools to generate hooks, captions and format adaptations quickly.
- Tie every brief to one measurable business outcome before production begins.
- Review creative performance weekly, not only at the end of a campaign.
The Performance 3.0 argument
Vidhu Ravinath and Archisman Sarangi have been appointed Vice Presidents and Business Heads of Dentsu Performance Studio. They describe the change as a shift from static playbooks to an always-on system: “Performance 3.0 requires an always-on engine where every creative decision is informed by performance.”
The practical takeaway is that creative is no longer just an input into performance marketing. It is a variable to test, measure and optimise like any other part of the funnel. Teams that turn performance signals into creative changes fastest will capture the next wave of efficiency.
