Dentsu India has launched Dentsu Performance Studio, a new practice that puts creative at the centre of performance marketing. The announcement on 21 September 2026 arrives as automated bidding, placement and audience selection make media optimisation less of a differentiator—and creative quality a bigger one.
The studio operates from a 3,000-plus square foot facility in Bengaluru. It is built to handle video shoots, static ads, AI-generated video, brand assets and platform-native content under one roof.
Inside the “Results in a Box” model
The practice is organised around what Dentsu calls “Results in a Box,” connecting creative strategy, AI-powered production and performance media to a clearly defined business outcome. A shared data system feeds campaign results back into future creative development, rather than leaving creative and media optimisation in separate silos.
Under the hood, the facility follows a factory-based production approach, so teams can ship platform-native variations quickly instead of starting every asset from scratch. Dentsu frames the shift as “Performance Marketing 3.0,” moving from playbook-driven teams to an always-on engine where creative decisions are informed by performance data.
Why creative is becoming the new targeting
For growth teams, this is a signal about where the next edge sits. As Google, Meta and other platforms automate audience selection and media buying, the fastest lever is producing more relevant creative variants and reading the signals quickly.
Think of a D2C brand running Meta ads. A decade ago, account structure and audience stacks did much of the work. Today the platform finds the audience; the brand’s job is to show the right hook, benefit and proof. A tight creative feedback system tells you which variant actually moved the metric.
The practice targets more than 1,000 assets a month as it scales. That volume only becomes useful if it is tied to measurement; otherwise brands end up with a warehouse of content instead of a testing engine.
Leadership appointments back the ambition. Vidhu Ravinath and Archisman Sarangi join as Vice Presidents and Business Heads, overseeing performance media, creative strategy and AI-enabled production.
CEO Abhirup Datta said performance marketing is entering a new chapter, with the winning model bringing creative, media and measurement together to deliver outcomes at scale. The studio is the agency’s answer to that change.
Steal the operating loop
A smaller team does not need a production studio to apply the same thinking. The core loop is simple:
- Pick one business outcome per campaign
- Generate hooks and formats around customer pain points
- Produce fast, low-cost variants for each platform
- Review performance weekly and feed winners into the next batch
That cycle—creative idea, production, media signal, repeat—turns creative at scale into measurable outcomes. The agencies and brands that industrialise it will be able to test more, learn faster and scale without guesswork.
