Ubersuggest has arrived where many marketers already do their thinking: inside Claude. The SEO tool is now an official connector in Anthropic’s directory, which means you can pull real search data from a conversation instead of jumping to another tab.
From dashboard to conversation
Connecting takes a search and a click. Open Claude’s connector settings, find Ubersuggest, sign in with your existing account, and start asking questions about a real domain. The setup is native and in-app, not a workaround.
Behind the scenes, the integration runs on Model Context Protocol, an open standard that lets an assistant call outside applications while you chat. Anthropic has vetted the listing. The connector is read-only: it queries your data but cannot delete projects or publish anything on your behalf. Access follows your current Ubersuggest plan limits.
What you can pull
This is not a thin demo. Claude can work across eight data areas, powered by 58 tools behind the scenes.
- Keyword research: search volume, CPC, paid and SEO difficulty, related terms, autocomplete ideas and intent.
- Domain and competitor analysis: traffic estimates, domain authority, ranking keywords, top pages and top countries.
- Backlinks: referring domains, anchor text distribution and link gaps.
- SERP and site health: who ranks for a term, click distribution, site crawl issues and page speed.
- Rank tracking and AI visibility: position changes over time and how a brand appears in AI assistant answers.
Why the price gap matters
Most SEO research tools carry enterprise pricing. Semrush Pro starts at $139.95 a month and Ahrefs’ entry plan at $129. Ubersuggest’s Individual plan starts at $12 a month—and that is the same data now reachable inside Claude.
Beyond convenience, the real shift is data trust. A generic Claude answer can offer plausible keyword ideas, but it does not know actual volume, CPC or what currently ranks. With the connector, Claude queries the same index that powers ubersuggest.com, so the numbers are measured, not generated.
For a solo consultant or a two-person agency answering a client mid-call, that changes the cost of having real numbers in the room. You are no longer forced to keep a premium suite open all day just to answer a follow-up question.
Start with a gap, not a report
The highest-leverage move is to ask Claude for a comparison. Pull a domain overview, then ask which competitor keywords your site is not targeting, then ask for backlinks a competitor has that you do not. Three questions replace three exported reports and a spreadsheet session.
Connect it, pick a domain you manage, and ask something specific. The fastest way to judge the connector is to use it on a real decision.
